NEW HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER
PUEBLA DE LA CALZADA , BADAJOZ
This project has established a program of needs that corresponds to the objectives and needs of the promoter, considering these objectives and needs from an organic, functional, formal, material and technological point of view, to adapt the most suitable solutions to the program proposed by the developer and the characteristics of the site and its location, as well as the purposes for which the building is to be used.
.
In the first approaches to the site, we find the problem of the entry convergence to different uses. Therefore, it was necessary to improve, structure and organize the different entrances through our building. In addition, a barrier had been created in the nursery that restricted a use that needs permeability and extension into outer space. So we decided to organize the building around a central community space where the various possibilities of the users are connected.
.
Its geometry responds to three rectangular pieces, arranged around a patio. All uses are directed to this space of relationship conceived as a place of community. In such a way that the patio is framed on three of its sides by the building and in the fourth, the permeable enclosure is arranged that will allow the outer space of the nursery to expand. The building is closed to the street, creating a facade. The access to the building frames and creates a gesture of approach to the interior space.
.
We configure a transparent interior facade. To avoid possible problems due to the weather, we have a lattice enclosure that filters the light that reaches the premises. With the different projected spaces, we try to facilitate the interior-exterior transition, the coming and going of the different users and citizens, the entrance and exit through the patio and corridors, facilitating communication and meeting.
.
Taking into account the previous considerations, the program of needs of the work object of this project, will consist of the following general sections: conference room, cabinets, training rooms and spaces for associations, wet centers, information point and facilities .
